Product Description

The GCR 5 Pure Color Series is a 100% acrylic waterborne interior/exterior coating designed to provide the highest level of UV Resistant and color retention for high and low 􏰀 humidity and low temperature application conditions. GCR 5 Series is excellent for solid, 􏰀 color washing and creating multiple effects on various surfaces. Product features include:

Compatible Systems: GCR 47 primer, GCP 1000 Aliphatic Polyurethane, GCR 37 Polyurethane.

Mix Ratio: Single Component; 20% or to desired viscosity.

Drying Schedule (8.0 mils wet – 50% RH):

Shelf Life: 12 months, unopened @ 77°F. Re-inspect after one year.

Storage: Store at 45°F-90°F. Keep from prolonged exposure to sunlight and heat. Keep closed during storage. KEEP FROM FREEZING. Product does not have a freeze/thaw cycle. Take necessary precautions for transporting and storage to keep from freezing. If product does freeze, discard according to local, state and federal regulations.

Flame Spread Rating: ASTM E84-91A / ASTM E162 Result: Flame Index Spread = 5, Smoke Density Index = 0

Flexibility: ASTM D522 (180° bend, 1/8” mandrel) = Pass

Hardness: ASTM D3363 = 2B

Moisture Condensation Resistance: ASTM D4585 Result: 100°F, 300 Hours = Passes

Salt Spray: ASTM B117 (500 hours) = Excellent

Smoke Emissions: ASTM E662 Flaming/Non-Flaming

The following coverage rates are for estimation purposes only. To accurately determine coverage rates, apply a test application on the actual surface. Surface porosity and texture, method of application and climate conditions affect application rates:
